Hi, I’m Jen.
I’m a certified executive coach with over 15 years in Learning & Development & HR who was addicted to work and everything I thought I was doing well. I’m also the owner of Perpetual Capacity Coaching & Consulting.
In 2023, I found myself in a hospital with my child, having to choose yet again - my family or my work. For years I hid my personal side and climbed the ladder of the corporate world to prove I could. I was so stuck in my ways, down in a box that I didn’t see that I was exactly what was getting in my own way. I left no room for growth or being who I really was.
Today I work with teams and leaders who are struggling to grow and lead effectively because they are rooted in the past. I teach people to recognize what they’ve outgrown so they can let it go to lead from who they’ve become.
Whether it's through my workshops, podcast, or other live talks, I'm committed to helping you discover what’s holding you back and what you’ve outgrown - to finally lead from who you really are.
My Story
I had built a career on being capable, dependable, and trusted with more.
I led Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams in a corporate HR setting in the construction industry. I was helping leaders grow. Solving problems and holding things together. For everyone else.
From the inside, my work had quietly become unquestionable.
Then came the moment I realized my role as a mother had taken a back seat. It had been happening for years — not from a lack of care, but because my work had slowly moved ahead of everything else. I had just stopped questioning the cost.
That moment forced me to rethink how I understood leadership, ambition, and growth.
It forced me to pause.
To look in the mirror and truly stop defending the stories I told myself.
That’s when everything changed.
So I could grow.
What I See in Organizations Now
I see capable, high-performing leaders, teams, and organizations who are ready for the next level — but are still operating with habits and identities that no longer serve them.
They’ve outgrown some of the ways they’ve been leading, the roles they’ve been carrying, and the stories they tell themselves about what success looks like.
That misalignment shows up in small frustrations, stalled projects, or leadership tension — signals that something in the system has changed, but the way they lead hasn’t.
The work isn’t about doing more.
It’s about noticing what’s in the way, letting go of what no longer fits, and creating space to lead from who you’ve become.
The Work
Through Perpetual Capacity, I create space for leaders and organizations to:
Recognize outdated habits, roles, and internal narratives
Navigate growth without burning out what matters most
Lead with clarity, capacity, and presence — not performance alone
We create space to see clearly, choose intentionally, and lead from who you’ve already become.
No new formulas. No “more” of anything. Just clarity, alignment, and permission to step fully into the leadership you’re capable of now.
An Invitation
Growth doesn’t always require doing more. Sometimes it requires letting go.
Let’s explore what leadership looks like from here.
When I’m not working with organizations, you’ll find me exploring the Rocky Mountains, spending time with my adult children or working on my upcoming book.
